John Cannon, Casting Director

Veteran Casting Director John Cannon embarked on his profession in 1989, working with the National Theatre.

Moving on to the casting department at the RSC, he later cast several independent films and television projects before joining the BBC in-house casting team.

A Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), John has been the Casting Director for many popular TV series, including Shakespeare & Hathaway: Private Investigators, Father Brown , Holby City , Lark Rise to Candleford, Casualty, Silent Witness,  and The Bill

He also cast the hit TV Movies Grandpa’s Great Escape, Billionaire Boy, The Boy in the Dress, Gangsta Granny, and Mr. Stink. 

Anji Carroll

Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), Anji Carroll is known for her screen casting work on TV series such as This Life and The Bill, and a number of independent feature films including Papadopoulos & Sons.

Anji’s work now focuses on casting for the New Vic Theatre.

Lucy Casson

Lucy Casson came into the casting profession with on-set experience as an actress and supporting artist. 

Probationary Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), her work as a Casting Assistant and Casting Associate includes TV Movie Murdered by My Father and TV Series The Bay.

She also casts talent for theatre, and was Casting Director for Gently Down The Stream by Martin Sherman at Park Theatre, for which Jonathan Hyde received an Olivier Award nomination for ‘Outstanding Achievement in Affiliate Theatre’.

Claire Catterson, Casting Director

Member of the Casting Directors’ Association (CDA), Claire Catterson is a freelance casting director for Commercials, Films and Music Videos.

She casts in Glasgow, London and New York.

Claire has worked on a number of feature films including horror film The Tormented (2019) and British comedy The Decoy Bride (2011).

Claire Catterson won both the Gold and Silver British Arrows Craft Awards and the D&AD Award for Best Casting, in respect of her work casting for commercials.

Suzy Catliff

Theatre director, acting coach and casting director Suzy Catliff is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Owner of Chand Casting, Urvashi Chand is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Her credits as Casting Director include TV series The Bill and Shakespeare in Italy, and feature films Age of Heroes (2011), My Best Friend’s Wedding (2016) and Tomorrow (2018/19).

Charlotte Chapman

During the UK lockdown of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, Charlotte was the Casting Associate for the acclaimed BBC TV series Alan Bennett’s Talking Heads.

As Casting Assistant her work included top TV series Friday Night DinnerGame of ThronesThe Crown, and TV mini-series Chernobyl.

Andrea Clark

Andrea Clark is an experienced Casting Director with full membership of both the Casting Directors’ Association (CDA) and The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

In addition to casting commercials for household name brands, she has worked on many TV series including Trial & Retribution, TV mini-series including Escape Attempt and Egypt, and feature films including The Bellwether (2019), Dog Soldiers (2002) and Hellboy (2004).

Lou Clouter

London based Casting Director Lou Clouter is a member and founder board member of the Casting Directors’ Association (CDA).

In addition to casting for commercials, music videos, editorial print campaigns & live shows, Lou was the Casting Director for TV series Legend of Cambria.

Kharmel Cochrane

Kharmel Cochrane has worked in casting for over 14 years having started out as an assistant at the age of 18.

She then assisted several esteemed Casting Directors over the years before founding her own company in 2011 at the age of 25.

Since then, Kharmel Cochrane Casting has worked on award winning films such as ‘Lilting,’ ‘The Witch,’ and the BAFTA award winning short ‘Home.’

She’s a full member of the Casting Directors’ Association (CDA).

Kharmel and her team continue to discover and champion emerging talent whilst firmly flying the flag for independent film.

Louise Collins

London-based Louise Collins has worked in casting for more than eight years.

A probationary member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), her projects as Casting Assistant, Casting Associate and Casting Director include TV series The New Pope, Murder Maps and The NIght Manager, as well as a number of feature films including The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Bay of Silence.

Anna Cooper

A Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), Anna Cooper was appointed Casting Director of the Donmar Warehouse theatre in London’s Covent Garden in 2018.

Prior to that her experience included working as a Casting Assistant on a number of hit TV series including Doc Martin, Inspector George GentlySilk, and Ashes to Ashes. She also worked on feature films The Lady in the Van (2015) and The Other Boleyn Girl (2008).

Irene Cotton

Irene Cotton’s extensive résumé as Casting Director includes casting for radio and theatre, including West End shows, and film and TV projects, including long running TV series The Bill and feature film Paradise War: The Story of Bruno Manser (2019).

Irene is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Katy Covell, Casting Director

After working in casting for several years, in 2016 Katy Covell and her long time friend Ollie Gilbert launched Gilbert and Covell Casting.

As Casting Assistant and then Casting Director she’s worked on numerous feature films, including Kingsman: The Secret Service (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Kingsman: The Golden Circle (2017) and Obey (2018).

Gordon Cowell

Working as a Casting Associate to Jill Green for almost five years before moving to Kate Rhodes James in 2016, Gordon Cowell is a probationary member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG). 

He’s worked on many TV series including hit shows Sherlock and Bodyguard.

Amy Craig

Amy Craig started out her casting career at Catherine Willis Casting, before becoming Casting Assistant to Jill Green.

She’s a probationary member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Her experience of casting for TV series includes working on Warrior, A Discovery of Witches, Bodyguard and Silent Witness. In addition, she worked on the hit CBBC TV Series Wolfblood and the award winning TV mini-series Harriet’s Army.

Kahleen Crawford, Casting Director

With offices in London and Scotland, Casting Director Kahleen Crawford works on projects in feature films, television, short films, commercials and music promos.

She’s a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Kahleen’s notable work includes casting for Ken Loach’s feature film I, Daniel Blake (2016), which won multiple awards including the Palme d’Or and BAFTA Award for Best British Film.

She was also the Casting Director for TV Series His Dark Materials and TV Mini-Series The Nest which both drew in large audiences and critical acclaim.

Louise Cross

Veteran Casting Director Louise Cross has worked on theatre, TV and film projects for more than 25 years.

Suzanne Crowley, Casting Director

Casting Director Suzanne Crowley has been nominated for a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Comedy Series and won the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Limited Series, Movie or Special.

She casts projects for theatre and film, and is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).

Having worked on more than two hundred feature films, TV movies and TV series, her credits include The Maze Runner (2014), The Wolverine (2013), Being Human and Sex and the City.

Claire Curry, Casting Director

Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG), Claire Curry was Casting Director for the 2020 feature film Gretel and Hansel. 

As a Casting Assistant and Casting Associate she built up a wealth of experience working on many popular TV series including The RoyalsOur Zoo and Misfits, and feature films including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (2018), Vita & Virginia (2018) and The Informer (2019).
