Seeking Representation?
Emptage Hallett is selective and represents actors with existing professional training and experience. You are expected to have an active Spotlight profile and showreel before applying.
If you are an actor applying to the London office for representation, send your covering email, Spotlight link and showreel link by email to submissions@emptagehallett.co.uk
If you are an actor applying to the Cardiff office for representation, send your covering email, Spotlight link and showreel link by email to cardiff@emptagehallett.co.uk
If you are a writer applying to the London office for representation, send your covering email, Spotlight link and showreel link by email to writers@emptagehallett.co.uk
The agents attend London shows, and often visit regional shows and workshops, to discover new talent. However, it’s not possible to see all applicants on stage so good, solid showreel is essential.
“When emailing I’d recommend keeping it brief and making sure a link to your Spotlight page and showreel are included. If you have any connection to me and the agency, that’s always good to mention but again, be brief.”
Hannah Wilkinson, speaking at a Spotlight Open House
Most applicants will get some sort of response, but not always. If you don’t hear, always assume the agency does not want to pursue your submission further.
You should not make unsolicited phone calls or office visits requesting representation.

Agent Hannah Wilkinson runs well-received workshops for actors, both new and experienced.
“I think actors should try and be creative as often as possible. Whether that’s by attending workshops and classes or writing and creating their own work during their down time. Things can move so quickly with auditions and self-tapes, that I think it’s imperative that actors have their accents perfected and self-tape technique on point, so they’re ready to go at the drop of a hat.”
Hannah Wilkinson, speaking at Spotlight Open House
