Based in London, Lucy is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG). She’s credited with giving Eddie Redmayne and Tom Hiddleston their first big-screen breaks.Her notable credits as Casting Director include feature films Batman (2021), Artemis Fowl (2020), Christopher Robin (2018), Murder on the Orient Express (2017), Maleficent (2014), Johnny English Reborn (2011), Made in Dagenham (2010) and The Duchess (2008).
Lucy Bevan was interested in getting into the film industry from a young age, and proactively went out to knock on industry doors asking to be a runner.

Making the tea, filing, doing dry cleaning for the film producer Sarah Radclyffe was highly enjoyable and a great learning experience. It also gave Lucy Bevan the opportunity to spot casting as a fascinating career. So she worked for various casting directors before getting the spot she wanted – working for the legendary casting director Mary Selway. She did not move again until Mary’s death, when Lucy Bevan launched her own casting director business.
