Child Self Tape Audition Example
Looking for a child self tape audition example?
Seven year old Canadian Model & Talent Convention alumni Ava Murchison took home first place for the the CMTC 2019 self-tape competition for children aged 4-11.
You’ll notice the self tape is filmed in landscape, and that she begins with a clear slate, while facing the camera.
The slate is an essential part of a selftape, in which you introduce your name, age or other relevant information, and talent agent or contact details.
The break between slate and performance isn’t an essential part of selftapes.
But you’ll see how this break allows her to change from her own smiley introduction for the slate, into a serious, even scornful, character for the sides (lines).
