Gary Davy, Casting Director
Gary Davy started his career at some of London’s top theatres, having trained in Stage Management at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
He then moved into TV production at the BBC before moving into casting. Since 2000 Gary has been a freelance Casting Director, and is a Full Member of The Casting Directors’ Guild (CDG).
He has cast more than a hundred and thirty screen projects, including TV series Baptiste, Alex Rider and Liar, and feature films Woman in Gold (2015) and An American Haunting (2005).
Gary Davy was part of the team to win 2002 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries, Movie or a Special, for Band of Brothers (2001).

Anna Dawson, Casting Director
Anna Dawson is a UK Casting Director based in Edinburgh, working in Scotland and London.
Member of the CDG (Casting Directors’ Guild), Anna Dawson is based at SPH Casting in Edinburgh, Scotland, working alongside Casting Director Simone Pereira Hind.
She mainly works in Edinburgh and London.
In support of the Equity union’s Yes/No campaign, in 2021 Anna co-created and developed a tool with Tagmin to ensure all actors get an answer on auditions.
Anna studied Drama and Film at the University of Manchester. During this period she also gained experience working in the London casting offices of Julia Duff, Sacha Green and Marilyn Johnson.
Having graduated, Anna went on to work for numerous Casting Directors including Jina Jay, Olivia Scott Webb, and Suzanne Smith.
In 2015, she joined Simone Pereira Hind at SPH Casting in Edinburgh, working as an associate Casting Director and increasingly also as Casting Director.

Anna Dawson has worked on a number of TV series, including Last Commander, Outlander and Logan High, and assisted casting for popular TV mini-series The Replacement.
